Paste text from Claude, choose Careful or Thorough, then review every Unicode change before you copy. This walkthrough covers both modes and when to use each one.
01 / Steps
Remove a Claude watermark in three moves.
The remover keeps source, result and Unicode report together so nothing disappears without a paper trail.
1
Paste Claude text
Open the Claude watermark remover, paste a response, drop a plain-text file, or load the sample with hidden marks. Character, word and line counts update immediately.
2
Choose Careful or Thorough
Careful removes supported hidden Unicode outside emoji sequences. Thorough first rewrites wording with AI to disrupt the hidden Claude wording pattern, then runs the same Unicode pass.
3
Review, then copy
Read the removal report: each code point, count and position. Use the marked preview if you need the invisible characters shown in brackets. Copy or download only after you accept the result.
02 / Careful
When Careful is enough.
Use Careful when you mainly need invisible Unicode removed: zero-width spaces, soft hyphens, word joiners, byte order marks and related marks outside emoji sequences.
Visible wording stays as you wrote it, apart from NFC normalization. That makes Careful the default for drafts you want to keep intact.
03 / Thorough
When Thorough is worth it.
Use Thorough when you also want an AI rewrite aimed at the hidden Claude wording pattern. Wording or meaning can change, so compare the result with the source every time.
Thorough still removes the same hidden Unicode after the rewrite. Review both the wording and the Unicode ledger before publishing.
04 / Checklist
Before you paste the cleaned text elsewhere.
Confirm the mode
Careful changes Unicode only. Thorough can rewrite sentences. If the result feels off, re-run Careful or edit the Thorough output by hand.
Scan the report
Joiners and variation selectors can matter for emoji and joined scripts. The report names each mark so you can decide whether the removal is acceptable.
Compare source and result
Especially after Thorough: check facts, names, citations and formatting. Generative output is nondeterministic even with preservation instructions.
Prefer plain text
Paste from Claude or open a .txt file. Rich editors can reintroduce hidden characters when you copy again later.
